The Cosmic Record was created by Nektarios Giannakis on June 1st 2025. Its goal is to inform the general public about the breakthroughs in the sector of Astronomy. On this website you will find blogs, videos, images and other media concerning Astrophysics and the science of the Cosmos. Our knowledge of the Universe and of our place within it is of crucial importance for our lives. With that in mind, Nektarios Giannakis also created the Youtube channel @Celestium-VenturetheUnknown on the 23 of August, 2024, in which he published the 30 minute long documentary "Echoes of Creation: From Stardust to Eternity". The aim of this documentary was to raise awareness on our size and position in our huge universe. The Cosmic Record is the next step in this effort.t -- a digital archive of cosmic wonder, built to ignite curiosity and deepen understanding of the Cosmos and our place within it. 

As Carl Sagan once said:

“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”

 With each discovery, we take one step closer to it.
