The Radio Galaxy Zoo EMU

Scientists have discovered thousands of radio-galaxies and they need help at classifying them. Will you be the one to study a radio galaxy for the first time?

A note from EMU:

"Welcome to Radio Galaxy Zoo EMU ! Following the original, very productive Radio Galaxy Zoo, we now need your help to work with the spectacular radio images from the Evolutionary Map of the Universe (EMU) Survey from the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP). Your work will teach us which patches of radio emission belong together, and which optical or infrared galaxy is the home of the supermassive black hole that is usually responsible for the radio emission.

We're also asking you to take on the challenging task of describing what each radio source looks like, using a preselected list of descriptors that we call tags. And last, but not least, we hope you'll use the new tools we've provided to discover rare objects such as Giant Radio Galaxies or X-shaped sources or radio-luminous spirals, or ....? We look forward to hearing about your ground-breaking discoveries!
