The Pillars of Creation

A cosmic structure resembling pillars of dust and gases, located in the Eagle Nebula. The Pillars of Creation are one of the most popular astronomy pictures of all time. This image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope features the Pillars as seen in visible light, enabling the viewer to distinguish the different colors of this clump of gas.
